Imagine yourself as a student at one of the schools that has hosted a #FantaSchoolMovieActivation. You’re excited to arrive at school, knowing that a day of fun and excitement awaits you.
You enter the school grounds and are immediately greeted by the sound of music and laughter. You see Fanta Ambassadors handing out free snacks and drinks, and you can’t wait to join the fun.
You participate in some of the games, and you’re even brave enough to enter the Fanta rap battle. You don’t win, but you have a blast anyway.
At the end of the day, you’re treated to a VIP movie experience. You walk down the red carpet, take photos with your friends, and enjoy some free popcorn and drinks. You watch the movie with your friends, and you have a night to remember.
The #FantaSchoolMovieActivations are a series of events that bring the fun of Fanta and the magic of movies to schools across Uganda. These events are designed to create a memorable experience for students, while also promoting the Fanta brand.

The objective of this brand campaign is to bring ‘fan snacking’ to schools. Fanta Ambassadors were rewarded with some accolades for their efforts. Entertainment and several games were done e.g. Fanta rap battles, Dance entertainment, Spelling Bee blindfold races, Fanta throwing rig games, snacking, virtual games, and to crown off the day with a VIP Movie experience.
Entertainment and Games Galore
The #FantaSchoolMovieActivations are packed with entertainment and games for students of all ages. Some of the popular activities include:
- Fanta rap battles: Students compete to see who can come up with the best rap about Fanta.
- Dance entertainment: Professional dancers entertain the crowd with energetic and exciting performances.
- Spelling Bee blindfold races: Students race against each other to spell words correctly.
- Fanta throwing rig games: Students test their aim and accuracy by throwing round rings into Fanta bottles in different targets.
- Snacking: Students enjoy a variety of delicious snacks, including Fanta, popcorn, and candy.
- Virtual games: Students play fun and interactive virtual games.

VIP Movie Experience
The highlight of the day is the VIP movie experience. Students are treated to a screening of a popular movie in a private cinema. Before the movie starts, some students enjoy a red carpet VIP screening experience and free cold Fanta with snacks.
A Total Success
So far, ten schools have enjoyed the #FantaSchoolMovieActivations: St. Kizito Sec School Namugogo, Kawempe Primary School, Mbogo High School, Bishop Cypriano Sec School, Midland High School, Kisasi High School, Spire High School, St Mary’s Kasangati, St Lawrence London College, and Atlas High school.
The #FantaSchoolMovieActivations have been a huge success, with students raving about the fun and excitement of the events. Fanta is proud to bring these activations to schools across Uganda, and looks forward to continuing to provide students with a memorable experience.
